Today was Ballycastle on the beautiful North Coast which means a night's B&B with my Dad, Step-mum and 17 year old brother in their pad in Bushmills. This also means at least one drink (or several) in The Bayview Hotel, at least one dinner comprising almost entirely of Dad's home grown veg produce (which is very good!) and at least one long, in-depth conversation about something topical which Dad is guaranteed to have tried to speak to Stephen Nolan about in the last few days.
Today was a fairly early start where I chased the sunrise from Bushmills to Ballycastle eventually stopping to take a few pictures right on the seashore in Ballycastle. I think I actually just missed the best of it. I was taking photographs in Ballycastle Integrated Primary until around lunchtime. I then set up office in the corner of the newly re-opened Marine Hotel. Very nice it was too. But then again, all I needed was a seat, a menu, a socket and wifi to make for a very productive desk for the afternoon.
